After over 20-years of experience in sales. I, respectfully, disagree. I've helped thousands of people graciously receive the goods & services they'd often spent years searching years. Not every buyer instinctively does what they actually want, or even what's in their best interest. Some people need a little help making up their minds on something, and that's ok.
This isn't about manipulation or shoving product down an unwilling prospect's throat. This is about helping people get the results THEY want & need. Objections are always rooted in deeper things, like disbelief. Here are a few of the ways I've handled some of the more common ones throughout my career.
